Ailish Campbell - Board Member

Ailish Campbell is a senior official at Finance Canada. She brings to the position more than a dozen years of leadership in global economic policy.  Before this appointment, she was the Vice President, International and Fiscal Policy, at the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. Previously, Ailish held executive positions at Industry Canada, the Privy Council Office and the Department of Global Affairs Canada where she was a member of Canada’s negotiating team to the World Trade Organization.

Ailish holds a Doctorate from the University of Oxford, and is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Queen’s University. She has completed executive leadership training at Harvard University.  Ailish serves on the Boards of the Banff Forum, Canada 150 Give Back – Redonner, and the International Advisory Council at the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy.  She has also served on the Queen’s University Council. In March 2014 Ailish was named a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum.
