Julie Quenneville began her career in journalism before turning her attention to politics. In 2003, she became the Associate Chief of Staff and Political Advisor to the Minister of Health and Social Services, Philippe Couillard. She subsequently joined the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) in 2005, and held several leadership positions, including Director of Development and Marketing from 2008-2015.

Ms. Quenneville played an instrumental role in raising funds for the MUHC’s $300 million Best Care for Life capital campaign, and in the fall of 2015, she became the new President of the MUHC Foundation and the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation. Her experience in media, politics, healthcare, government, and fundraising combined with her extensive knowledge of the hospital is already making an impact as she inspires the community to philanthropically support the priorities of the McGill University Health Centre.
